Favorites on Friday

I realized I haven't done a Favorites on Friday post in a ridiculously long time. So to make up for it, I will tell you a few things I am loving these days.
Larabar - In my attempt to clean-up my diet and make better, more health-conscious decisions, I am attempting to go {mostly} Gluten Free. (I say mostly because I am not actually allergic to gluten, but I find that I feel better by reducing it from my diet. Gluten is often hidden in everything from soy sauce to salad dressing to chocolate, so I don't necessarily steer clear from those items, but I have eliminated pasta, bread, crackers, pastries, etc.) These snack bars are gluten free and often contain only 5 or 6 ingredients. These days I am loving the Ginger Snap and the Banana Bread flavors. They have totally replaced my usual "granola bar fixation", and I feel really good about making the change. They fill me up much better than a usual granola bar and I feel like I am eating "good food".
Amazing Grass - If you have been following me on Instagram (search for projectshannon), then you know that I tried the Amazing Grass challenge for a week. I know, I know, you're probably like "What?!?" Amazing Grass is an organic powder of Wheat Grass, Barley Grass and Alfalfa. (At this point, you're probably like "yuk!") But it looks worse in the glass than it tastes. Trust me. It smells like a farm, but I love how it makes me feel. I mix it in a glass of OJ every morning, and I have subsequently almost totally kicked my raging coffee habit. (although I occasionally indulge in an afternoon grande soy chai from sbux.) But I have more energy and I feel more awake each morning. I don't know what it is, but I'm hooked.
Tracy Anderson's Mat Workout - I've been working out roughly 6-times a week these days, so I have to switch up my usual gym routine, or I'd go nuts. I do this video at home on the weekends, when it's easier to get up and fit in an hour-long DVD. This video is surprisingly challenging and I feel like my arms are going to fall off. I love it.
Physique 57 Express Workout - during the week, if I don't head to the gym before work, I squeeze in this 30-minute express workout from Physique 57 (my favorite type of workout). It great because I can get a full-body workout in just 30 minutes, yet still have plenty time to get ready for my day - without setting my alarm for 5am. It's a great way to wake up, and Tanya makes sure you do.
So there you have it! My latest round-up on Favorites on Friday. I'm off for vacation tomorrow, but I will still try to get in a couple posts while I'm away!
FYI - no one perked me for mentioning the above products, but I just really like them and thought maybe you would too? I am pretty sure they have no idea who Project Shannon is.

@Jane - these two are my favorites, but really - they are all great! I order mine from Soap.com, but the online Larabar store has many more to choose from!
